Some answers I sent lloyd, I thought others may find something usfull in this for them.
I use the megenta caps and the regular lids I see no difference, the only thing you have to be careful of is mites. If thy are near the TC they will get in and contaminate it, ( dust mites I think) cant see them.
I use the hormones that were tested on VFT, I found a protocal on the net I have tryed no other ones. If you want to get a culture to multiply you usually have to use a hormone or u just get one plant, the rooting media just speeds the rooting stage.
The agar I use I ordered from a drugstore. Im not sure if is the correct stuff but it is clear and sets up nice. One day I am going to try liquid media and a ball of that cotton like stuff cotten batten that you put in pillows. It sterilizes well. Sinse the media is liquid you can give it a swish to mix up nutrients every once and a while. Hope this helps. Stephen
