I thought a few updates on my TC experiments would be appreciated, since a few members seems to be involved/interested by this propagation techniques. So far,
-Heliamphora minor: rooting and multiplication protocol are looking good, but surely can be improved
-Darlingtonia californica: rooting and multiplication protocol are looking good
-Drosera stolonifera ssp porrecta: germinated and growing well, I can see the 'main root' beginning to going down deeper into substrate . As soon as they will be strongly established, I'll try a slight media variation to see if i can increased the speed of tuber formation as with the potato.
-Drosophyllum lusicanicum: germinations occured yesterday (seeds sown last week)! Yeah!
-Byblis lamellata: awaiting germination
-Nepenthes ampullaria & rafflesiana: awaiting germination for now a week, but seeing that there is no contamination, one of the biggest step is done (the second is the survival of the seeds and germination);
-Nepenthes seeds from Syble earlier this year: nothing came up in the end... Had 2 germinations in sphagnum with macfarlanei, but none in vitro. all the others were negative, in and ex vitro.
-Sarracenia purpurea: had a very nice germination rate, now experimenting multiplication and rooting protocol.
-Pinguicula moranensis: awaiting germination. as soon as I'll satisfied with this one, I'll try a few mex. species i receive from a trade 3 weeks ago
-Drosera glanduligera: a few plants growing, 2 flowering in the petri plates!
Stratification for still a few week: P. vulgaris, S. leucophylla, Drosera glanduligera (a test), P. primuliflora (since i hadn't any germination since June I've decided to try stratification), and VFT.
Should be able to take pictures of those a little later (more likely in september)
