I don't know if this has been covered yet, but I have a book by Adrian Slack from 2006, 'Insect Eaters: How to grow and feed extraordinary plants- from the Venus Fly Trap to the Cobra Lily. It's a nice little book, all of 158 pages but it cuts right to the chase on cultivation of these palnts. Under the Heading: Cephalotus, He starts,"An easy and fascinating subject....". How's that for inspiring confidence in us intrepid CP growers. He doesn't go into detail about all the species in in each genus. There are not overly many pictures and they are not huge, but I have seen some plants in this book that I have not seen elsewhere, and was not even to find on a google attempt! I like to use this softcover for a quick reference for soil medium recipes. On Nepenthes, he expends more space, but still only twenty pages at that. While it isn't meant to replace Savage Garden or Barry Rice's book, for those of you that collect Cp books, its a slick little book. I'd recommend it.

Thanks for the review. I appreciate a bit of info before I get anything. I think I read one of his older books from the local uni library. I wasn't too impressed. I am waiting to get me a nice scientifically written book: Nepenthes of borneo / sumatran penunsula.
