The leucophylla is an unknow hybrid (well, it must contain some leucophylla). With time, the white of pitcher become purple. And yes, that a Capensis.
Here the list of what is inside my peat bog: Dionaea muscipula, Drosera filiformis, Drosera capensis, Drosera rotundifolia, Drosera intermedia, Darlingtonia californica, Utricularia livida, Utricularia intermedia, Pinguicula vulgaris, Pinguicula grandiflora, Sarracenia leucophylla, Sarracenia oreophylla, Sarracenia pistacina et Sarracenia judith hindle.

Syble: are you using Babelfish translator? or any translator? Just curious Dom: You tried all those plants to be overwintered in St-Jean-Chrysostome? Wow you're more couragious (?) than I am for sure! Let us know the result this summer, i am curious to see what withstand our winter... Especially about the Hybrid Sarracenia and others non-native species. I hope the warmer than usual winter and a good snow cover will have protected your plants well! A few companion plants can be added for a better 'coverage'. My old peat bog near Trois-Rivières has a Ledum groenlandicum in it (Thé du Labrador), a kind of small bushe common in wild, and a lot of Cranberries plants (Canneberges: Vaccinium macrocarpon/oxyccocos)running all over the place... And over the years, sedges (Carez spp) got all over the places too, plus some birch (Bouleaux/Betula papyfera)

I see you have found a good hardy winter-growing specimen Do you bring the D.capensis inside overwinter, or could they somehow survive (I would think not, but if it's possible it's something I HAVE to try) And I would say that is S. "Dana's Delight" , it seems to be in almost all our collections due to some pretty good commercial distribution Can't wait to see this years pics!!

I know I froze my capensis solid for nearly 2 weeks at -15 C and they grew back! Sib

Dom1234, I've got to know. Do you use mulch? How is your snow cover as the winter proceeds, and what kind of temperatures do you experience?

To protect my peat bog, I've putted dead leave on it and after a plastic sheep.

Temperature: About 10 times it reach -20 Celcius (or 0F), without the wind.
For the snow, this winter we had 3,10 meters of it.

Great pictures! I have that same S. leucophylla hybrid and when I posted pics for ID, the responses were that it is Dana's Delight. Very pretty plant.
