I grow my Mexican pings in a very loose medium of sand, vermiculite, peat and lava rock. In the summer when it's hot, I keep it moist and let it dry out for maybe a 1/2 day. In the winter, if it goes into succulent leaves, I keep it fairly dry but in a humid area. I'm guessing yours is too cold and possibly too wet for a cold setting. I would keep it in a sunny windowsill or terrarium. It will probably survive if you switch it's setting.

Make sure the soil is damp and keep it that way, when it gets dryer just give it some water in a tray and repeat! Cya

as Vincent said the light might be to strong for the plant, direct sunlight will fry the plant. Humidity up is a good thing and do not water the leaves just the soil; if the leaves are water u will most likely kill the plant.

It should be okay, Pings are a LOT tougher than they look (thougher like "stronger" not more difficult ) not letting them get TOO wet is important as others have mentioned, they like to have water right there available but not so much on the plant itself. I have a pot of PURE vermiculite that has a few Pings in it- the medium is alwasy in a tray of water but the surface and most of the vermiculite is bone-dry to the touch usually, they don't give me any complaints (tho I do plan on repotting them, the vermiculite was initially just to get them rooted and now they are growing nice so I guess they're past the "initial stage" by a long shot)

so what iv got now for my collection is B52 d akai ryu bigmouth extrema d dielsiana d purple pitcher cape dew ping clclostca?? and some other sundew?? which of these cant take the direct intense sunlight some days yaknow what im sayin?? which one needs the bright indirect the most rather then direct?? understand what im tryin to say??
because they all cant take the bright indidrect thats just how my setup works, i know that the flytraps and spatuala dew are good but the tall cape and extreme they need the inderect correct???

I think they all should do well in full sun. My multifida extrema did so well in the sun that it outgrew the terrarium.
