Are there ways to use the bladder roots of this plant to multiply it? I have tons of roots and like 4 leaves! Sib

I often use the roots of terrestrials and epiphytic utrics to propagate.

I just take whatever plant bits I have and put it into a pot of whatever medium you like. I usually use whatever the Savage Garden recommends. Anything airy but absorbent is good. The leafy parts can go on top, the rooty bits I cover a little bit. Keep warm and always moist and wait. Soon you will have a utricularia "culture".

Are they fast to grow? I have them (from vraev ) in a little pot, and I would like to propagate. I have a lot of leafs, about 1.5 inches long, but for roots, I never seen the quantity.

Really fast & easy. Just take any bit of plant and cover it very lightly with a light moist organic medium.

I can't get rid of this thing. I will get getting rid of this big CD case full of random crap ...i.e., calcifyda, longfolia mixed together. I am making my own new plant ...pure calcifyda in its own pot. Its taking a loooong time to set in. WHich is exactly how it was when I got the plant from Lloyd last year.

ThAnks guys! lloyd, for the longifolia, they are fine now. I just said that the calcyfida in the same package don't grow . But if they die until spring, I'll remember you. But, I'll always want to trade things and to have new plants . P.S. I grown 2 different forked leaf sundews varieties, they will be avaible in spring, maybe. With some other species, as pinguicula pirouette.
