im sure many members of the forum also got treefrogs minors as did purpmans cephs so i though i would also start a new thread to help with this one aswell i recieved my heli a month ago now i believe and when i recieved them they were clumped as one big plant as everyone elses were i waited prob 2 weeks before i started playin with it, i noticed that it had resumed growth, the two mature pitchers finished growing and had opened so what i did to it was split it up in to four diffrent lil clumps hoping that this wouldent affect it as much as it did uuugh but the prob i seem to be noticing is that they all have began gettin a pale with red spots and burnt lids i know the burnt lids are from the blistering sun, but could the color change also be from the sun as the plant is just getting its color?? i may have lost one of the four clumps but whatever the other three clumps are showing totally new growth so im not to worried

Root shock is my guess. Don't give up on the sick looking clumps. Make a little tent out of saran wrap with an elastic band to secure it to the pot. Try to give a few inches of air above the plant. Make sure the soil is wet at all times. You can water it it from below by immersing the pot in water but I wouldn't leave it in water. Maybe take it away from full sun but still allow very bright daylight. When it perks up you can slowly increase sun exposure and make a little hole in the saran wrap. Slowly increase the size of the hole over a month or two. This is what I did for my minor that Tom gave me from TC and it's doing well. Good luck.

Mine is doing ok, It was doing very well, didn't seam to be missing a beat then all of a sudden some of the pitchers have died back... I've done nothing to it, not divided, or repotted or anything. I fed a few pitchers a wee bit but their not the ones dieing back. I have a wait and see stance on it hehe. Sib

Right now mines in the tiny pot it came in, I was wondering if it should be put into a larger one and if so will 4 inches be deep enough, also I have so sphagnum so will a peat sand, perlite, or bark mix work, and should I remove all the old media its' in.

Mine's in a tiny pot too which I think is Ok until it overgrows the pot. Just remember that the smaller the pot, the quicker it can dry out. I've certainly lost plants that way.

I've never had a big problem. It may help to keep them in a little humidity tent until they show signs of new growth and then gradually open it up.
