...an orchid flower? Yes! This Cattleya sp. that just put out it's first flower in my possession has an incredible intoxicating scent. This flowering orchid smells very similar to a gardenia flower and finishes with a hint of citrus blossoms. I received this plant from 2ns last year, so if you're out there browsing the interwebz Glenn, thanks again for this orchid and I hope things are going well for you too. dvg

Thanks Justin, although this flower must seem very plain to you with all of the gorgeous hybrid and orchid species surrounding you daily at Cloud Orchids.
But the thing I like about this plant, besides it being an orchid that actually flowers, is the smell that permeates the whole room when the sun shines on this flower.
Today it filled the room with a fragrance reminiscent of a purple Datura.
And sure, go ahead...I'd love to see some of the crazy orchids that you tend to daily at Cloud's.
